Hatsune Miku's First Anime Movie Reveals Full Trailer & Release Date
The world's most iconic virtual reality idol is finally starring in her first anime movie. Vocaloid artist Hatsune Miku headlines the upcoming 2025 release of Colorful Stage! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing.
The official Colorful Stage YouTube channel released the debut main trailer for the first theatrical Miku anime movie. Based on the popular video game Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!, Colorful Stage! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing follows second-year student Ichika Hoshino as she unravels the mystery surrounding the virtual pop idol. After hearing a Miku song she's never heard at a music store, Ichika receives a message from the Vocaloid singer, claiming she cannot reach anyone with her voice no matter how hard she sings. Miku, who just watched Ichika connect with her audience through her live street performance, believes she's the key to helping her regain her presence in the music world.
