Stephen Graham Joins Bruce Springsteen Biopic in Major Role
The cast for the upcoming biopic, Deliver Me From Nowhere, which centers on Bruce Springsteen, is shaping up impressively. A latest addition to director Scott Coopers movie, as confirmed by Variety, is British actor Stephen Graham. He will be playing the role of Springsteens father. Jeremy Allen White, known for his Emmy-winning role in The Bear, will portray Springsteen himself.
Deliver Me From Nowhere will delve into the making of Bruce Springsteens 1982 album, Nebraska, which was a stark departure from his previous works. The album was supposed to be in the same vein as his other rock n roll albums, but instead, Springsteen surprised all by serving an emotional and stripped-down record, which was a significant artistic shift for the artist.
