New images from Law & Order: Svu reveal a first look at Olivia Benson's (Mariska Hargitay) new team member, while also showing the rest of the group training and investigating. Law & Order: Svu season 26 will be debuting Juliana Aidn Martine as Detective Kate Silva, the newest member of Bensons team as she continues to build a trustworthy bubble of people around her. The premiere episode will follow a law students attacked during a home invasion, with a hidden security camera possibly leading the team to discovering who their perpetrator is.

Now, TV Insider revealed new images that offer a first look at Detective Silva as she makes her debut on the team in Law & Order: Svu season 26s opening episode. She can be seen standing alongside the rest of the team while they puzzle out the case, as well as speaking to Joe Velasco (Octavio Pisano) while at a crime scene.
