Exclusive: Booksmart and Star Wars alum Billie Lourd is boarding the Harvey Guillén and Josh Brener comedy That Friend, we can tell you. Cameras roll in December.
Written and directed by Will Sterling and Alex Wall, That Friend explores the dynamics of
friendship and growing up. Lourd will play Penny, who was just trying to have a romantic weekend away with her new boyfriend Henry (Brener) when his best friend Paul (Guillén) crashes the trip. And when Paul’s pack of drug-laced cigarettes disappear into the hands of a stranger, the night takes a turn.
