One Piece: Haki or Black Blade? How Was Shiryu Able to Stab Garp, One of the Strongest Haki Users on Hachinosu?
The impending battle between the Hero of the Navy and the Blackbeard Pirates has finally begun in One Piece anime and fans cannot get enough of it. The fight has been deemed one of the greatest fights in the history of One Piece with Monkey D. Garp proving why he is one of the most powerful characters in the series.

However, he chose to sacrifice himself for the future of the Marines. During the battle, Garp is cunningly stabbed by Shiryu, one of the Ten Titanic Captains of the Blackbeard Pirates. However, while he moves on to stab Garp, his sword, Raiu, is coated with haki, which has confused fans.
Thus, the debate has been started about whether Shiryu has managed to turn his sword into a black blade or he was simply using Armament Haki to land a powerful blow and take down Garp.
