I Know Exactly What I Want From Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2 (& It's Not Darth Vader)
I know exactly what I want from Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2, and it's not more of Darth Vader. In the first season of the Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) is drawn away from protecting young Luke Skywalker on Tatooine to rescue Leia Organa who'd been kidnapped in a plot designed by the Empire's Third Sister. This conflict eventually reunites Kenobi with Darth Vader, his fallen apprentice who was once Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen). However, more Vader should not be the focus of a potential second season.
Ewan McGregor recently confirmed at L.A. Comic-Con that "ideas are being explored" for Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2. As such, this is one of the first promising signs in quite a while that a second season is being developed, and McGregor also voiced his hopes that Hayden Christensen would return to the series as well.
