As Passion Pictures’ French animation studio Passion Paris approaches its 20th year of business, the company has appointed Caroline Audebert as its new Managing Director.

Audebert will oversee future expansion, such as the opening of a new creative studio on Quai de Jemmapes. The bespoke space is custom-made for Passion’s 2D series work as well as its 3D and stop-motion production for shorts and series. The expansion will allow the company’s Paris-based studios to increase and diversify their production lineup.

Passion Paris recently released the animated short “Moonlit Bamboo Forest” by David Pagaille and is currently producing several projects, including the 2023 Cartoon Forum standout “Apocalypse Mojito” and the short “Please” from Emmy-winning filmmaker Anna Mantzaris. The company is also currently in production on “Lego Friends” Season 4.
