A Sequel To The Survival Horror Game “Alien: Isolation” Is In Development
Ten years ago, Japanese game publisher Sega and its subsidiary Creative Assembly (Known for the Total War strategy game series) released the science fiction survival horror video game Alien: Isolation. The game has players take the role of Amanda Ripley (daughter of Ellen Ripley) as she tries to survive on a space station while being stalked by the dreaded Xenomorph.
The game received an extremely positive response from both players and critics, winning multiple Best Horror Game of 2014 awards from multiple outlets. It reportedly sold over 2 million copies, making it a massive success.
The game received multiple pieces of Dlc content, which added more story, characters, and scenarios. For example, the “Last Survivor” Dlc pack adds Ellen Ripley herself and is once again played by Sigourney Weaver, giving fans the ability to recreate the feeling of the original 1979 film.
