Daniel Craig's $616M James Bond Was So Accurate That Even A Spy Expert Lifted Character's Dialogue In Real Life

Despite the franchise being known for more outlandish action, a spy expert is looking back on Casino Royale and celebrating how authentic the movie is. The 2006 film, directed by Martin Campbell and based on Ian Fleming's novel of the same name, served as a reboot of the iconic spy franchise, with Daniel Craig taking on the role as a freshly promoted 00 agent tasked with bringing down a terrorist financier. Grossing over $616 million and scoring rave reviews, the movie's success led to four further Bond movies with Craig leading the cast.
