1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton receives great news from her doctor as she exceeds expectations while trying to reach yet another milestone on her extraordinary weight loss journey. Across five seasons so far, 1000-Lb Sisters has documented the struggles and triumphs of Tammy and her sister, Amy Slaton, as they've attempted to lose weight, undergo bariatric surgery and maintain their new lifestyle. 1000-Lb Sisters season 6, which recently premiered, continues their journey, including Tammy getting closer and closer to being able to undergo skin removal surgery.
In a preview clip from the next episode of 1000-Lb Sisters season 6, courtesy of People, Tammy exclaims that she "surpassed Dr. Smith's goal, my goal, all the goals! I'm so ready for skin removal!" When Dr. Smith checks her weight, she ends up at 303.8 pounds. Dr. Smith told People he's "absolutely thrilled" by Tammy's progress, though he can't say he's surprised she's been able to reach this celebratory milestone.
