The Fox News Channel’s interview with Vice President Kamala Harris drew 9.2 million viewers to the network on Wednesday, according to finalized Nielsen data.
The interview, conducted with Fox News Chief Political Anchor Bret Baier, ran during “Special Report with Bret Baier” from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The half-hour block drew 7.8 million overall viewers and 1.126 million viewers in the key demographic of adults between the ages of 25 and 54 years old (A25-54), the group most-attractive to cable news advertisers.
For the hour, Special Report grabbed 6.7 million overall viewers and 901,000 viewers in the A25-54 group, the Nielsen data showed. It was the highest-rated program in the 6 p.m. Eastern Time slot compared to shows airing on CNN and MSNBC.
