
‘Bread and Roses’ sets Apple TV+ premiere date: Jennifer Lawrence-produced documentary captures Afghan women’s fight for autonomy

Apple Original Films has set a global premiere date for the documentary “Bread and Roses” from director Sahra Mani. The movie co-produced by Jennifer Lawrence and Justine Ciarrocchi will stream on Apple TV+ beginning November 22, 2024.
“Bread and Roses” offers a powerful window into the seismic impact on women’s rights and livelihoods after Kabul fell to the Taliban in 2021. The documentary film follows three women, in real time, as they fight to recover their autonomy.
