Watch Molly Shannon Revive ‘SNL’ Character to Advise Kamala Harris
Vice President Kamala Harris wasn’t in attendance at the traditional Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York on Thursday night, but she offered a video consolation to attendees instead. Harris enlisted actress Molly Shannon, who revived her beloved Saturday Night Live character, Catholic schoolgirl Mary Katherine Gallagher.
In the video, Harris begins by speaking about the Smith dinner, a tradition each election where the presidential candidates roast each other and themselves. As she speaks, Shannon runs behind her as Mary Katherine Gallagher. “Hey, whats going on?” Harris says.
