Cowboy Bebop Has an Actual Sequel That Shows a Totally Different Side of Its Universe

After watching just one episode of Cowboy Bebop, its easy to conclude that the universe it inhabits is gritty, corrupt, and lawless. This impression largely stems from the fact that the story is told through the lens of three morally ambiguous bounty hunters. Hope, optimism, and a sense of camaraderie aren't exactly the first ideas that come to mind. However, as Cowboy Bebops figurative sequel reveals, theres much more to this universe than what initially meets the eye.
Shinichir Watanabes Carole &Tuesday follows the story of Carole Stanley and Tuesday Simmons, two teenagers from opposite sides of the Martian tracks who are united by their love for music and their dream of becoming musicians. After a particularly discouraging day for each of them, they have a chance encounter on a bridge in Abla City - Mars' biggest city. This meeting sparks a discovery of their shared passions and an undeniable musical chemistry.
