Warning: this article contains spoilers for Transformers OneTransformers One has been one of the most interesting film releases of the year. With its massively positive reviews, Transformers One seems like it should have been a box office hit, but it has struggled to make enough money to become a true success. Regardless of its monetary status, the film has been wildly praised, with much of that going towards the performances of Transformers One's cast and the excellent, heartbreaking story being told, that being the origins of Optimus Prime and Megatron.

Watching Megatron's fall to eventually becoming a Decepticon is a heartbreaking affair that raises plenty of questions, namely the question as to how this fall could have happened so easily. At the start of the film, D-16 isn't exactly happy with the system he is in, but he is compliant, only really wants to hang out with his friends.
