Rilakkuma, a mascot character created by Aki Kondo in 2003 for the San-x stationery company, is receiving another anime adaptation, and an announcement trailer video has been published for the project. Projection I.G will animate the newly announced anime. The video (below) features direction by Yoshimi Itazu ( The Concierge ) and highlights Lilas Ikuta performing the official theme song for the new anime, which is entitled “stay with me”. At the time of this writing no further details about the new anime have yet been revealed. San-x describes the character of Rilakkuma as follows: “ Rilakkuma” means “Bear in relaxed mood”. At all time and everywhere Rilakkuma goes Rilakkuma is continuously lazy and relaxed. Rilakkuma is totally stress-free and also doing things at Rilakkuma's pace.
