A Bay Films Production “Transformers One” For four decades, the Transformers franchise has captivated pop culture through its toys, animated series, and live-action films. One element has remained constant throughout – the iconic Optimus Prime. But in the new prequel film, Transformers One, audiences are introduced to a younger version of the Autobot leader, and with that comes a new voice. Introducing a new voice for a younger Optimus Prime, Chris Hemsworth, renowned for his portrayal of another beloved hero, Thor, takes on the iconic role. Hemsworth, along with the filmmakers, aimed to reinvent the voice of Orion Pax, the Autobot who would later become Optimus Prime. While honoring the legacy of the character, they sought a fresh take.
