‘The Rig’: Amazon Reveals Fresh Season 2 Location And Casts ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ Star Jacob Fortune-Lloyd & Alice Krige

Exclusive: The inhabitants of Prime Video’s UK thriller The Rig are heading to an Arctic glacier.
Amazon has unveiled new cast for Season 2 of the hit series, along with first looks, with Star Trek star Alice Krige and The Queen’s Gambit’s Jacob Fortune-Lloyd joining Emily Hampshire, Martin Compston and Iain Glen. Boarding The Rig alongside the new pair are Ross Anderson (The Last Kingdom), Phil McKee (Deadwater Fell) and Johannes Roaldsen Fürst (Hvite gutter). Returning for Season 2 are Rochenda Sandall, Owen Teale, Mark Addy, Molly Vevers, Abraham Popoola, Nikhil Parmar and Stuart McQuarrie. Fortune-Lloyd recently boarded another Prime Video series, Haven, while Krige’s past credits include the same streamer’s Carnival Row.
