American Horror Story's Long-Awaited Coven Witches Return Poses A Big Challenge To The Show After Apocalypse

The witches from American Horror Storys third season, subtitled Coven, have popped up multiple times in the show since their initial appearance. Queenie returned to the shows fifth season for an episode, Myrtle returned for an episode of the shows spinoff, American Horror Stories, and most of the witches returned for the shows eighth season. The popular characters show no sign of putting a stop to their appearances, as Ryan Murphy has announced that the witches will return to the show at a later date. As for what roles they'll have, that remains to be seen.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse offered a different plotline for the witches, compared to their first season, which was great to see. Apocalypse saw the witches fight against the Antichrist to save the world from an apocalypse. Every witch apart from the soulless Jessica Langes Fiona Goode was able to make a re-appearance in the season.
