The Day of the Jackal Opening 9 Minutes Online
Peacock has brought online the opening nine minutes of the spy-thriller series The Day of the Jackal. The first five episodes of the series will be available to stream on Thursday, November 14. Episodes will debut weekly on Thursdays, and a double-episode finale will be available on December 12.
In the 10-episode series, an unrivaled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal (Eddie Redmayne), makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee.
But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake.
From writer and executive producer Ronan Bennett, The Day of the Jackal is based on the Frederick Forsyth novel and 1973 Universal film adaptation.
