More than a year after the revival was cancelled by Paramount+, iCarly star and executive producer Miranda Cosgrove teases a continuation of the series. Paramount confirmed that it was not moving forward with iCarly season 4 in October 2023, though the streamer praised the revival and cited the fact that fan-favorite couple Carly Shay (Cosgrove) and Freddie Benson (Nathan Cress) had finally gotten together. Since then, however, Cosgrove has hinted that the popular young adult series may not be done for good.

During a recent appearance on The Talk, according to Deadline, Cosgrove offered an update that a continuation of iCarly is in the works. Though the actor and producer couldn't provide specifics, she did hint that the project would bring back fan-favorite characters and resolve the cliffhanger that the revival ended on:
