Season 1 of Hulus The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives saw TikToks infamous MomTok friend group go through the highs and lows of a scandal that nearly broke their union. The Salt Lake City-based friends became famous for their playful TikToks about friendship, motherhood, and the Mormon culture. However, a swinging scandal nearly put a halt to their following.
Time Magazine reported that in 2022, MomTok creator Taylor Frankie Paul told her followers that the group was not in a good place after some couples participated in soft swinging. Swinging parties soon led to deeper feelings, cheating, divorces, and a fallout with each other. By the end of Season 1, the group tried to rally from their hardships. Now that Season 2 has been greenlit and started filming in October 2024, new cast members are rumored to be added to the series, including Utah-based influencer, Aspyn Ovard.
