Princess Ellian and her family got an unconventional happy ending in Spellbound, as the curse on the king and queen was broken in an unexpected way. The animated fantasy adventure introduced the royal family of a magical kingdom, who, for a whole year, had been hiding a secret. The king and queen, Solon and Ellsmere (Javier Bardem and Nicole Kidman), entered an enchanted forest and were turned into monsters. Their daughter Ellian (Rachel Zegler) took on the heavy weight of this burden, desperately searching for a way to free her parents from the curse and return their family to normal while pretending everything was okay.
