Next year's release of Spawn #360 doesn't just promise McFarlane's return, but a stunning new direction for the long-running franchise.

It won't be long before January is here, and the next year promises to be full of surprises, as Aipt Comics reports that next month's release of Spawn #360, will see the character once again being written by Spawn's creator, Todd McFarlane. McFarlane won't be alone as the issue will reunite him with comic legend Brett Booth.

The solicitation for Spawn #360 finds the title character in a bad place. Bludd has won, Spawn has lost, and the Vampire Kingdom has ascended. But this issue is just the beginning of what lies ahead for the entire Spawn universe.
