Masuda Kosuke Gekijo Gag Manga Biyori Go Anime Announced for April 2025
It's been 25 years since Masuda Kosuke's Gag Manga Biyori manga debuted, and the series is celebrating with another anime adaptation. Masuda Kosuke Gekijo Gag Manga Biyori Go will be the series' fifth anime adaptation—and its first in 15 years—and it's officially set for an April 2025 premiere in Japan. The staff and cast are back for the new series at Studio Deen, including director Akitaro Daichi. Returning cast members include Yuji Ueda as Pensuke, Kaori Nazuka as Usami, Eiji Takemoto as Imoko Omono and more. Check out the announcement visual below. Akitaro Daichi shared a celebratory illustration : The series will keep the party going with an exhibition to commemorate its 25th anniversary in Tokyo and Osaka in 2025.
