Bloodywood are taking the music world by storm, bringing their “Nu Dehli” sound to the masses. Combining the forces of more traditional Indian music with the raw power of metal, plus a smattering of anime influences, the band have a sound unlike any other. I was able to chat with the band to learn more about their gateway anime, the anime influences of the video, and working with the legendary Japanese metal idols. Can you tell me a little about your anime journey? How it started and where you are now? Are there genres you gravitate toward? What is your favorite anime series or movie of all time? Bloodywood : Our anime journey started like it did for the majority of the people our age in India, with Dragon Ball Z being premiered on Cartoon Network, followed by Pokémon , Cardcaptor Sakura , Shin-chan , etc. There has been no turning back since then.
