Harry Potter Reboot Rejects 42-Year-Old Man for Hermione as Thousands Audition for Main Roles
In September, Warner Bros. posted a casting call for the three lead child actors to play Harry, Hermione, and Ron in the new Harry Potter reboot. Over 32,000 audition tapes were sent in, including some very interesting ones.
Per the Daily Mail, a 42-year-old man tried his chance to get an audition to play Hermione Granger. The casting agents are reportedly going through thousands of audition tapes daily, and the lead roles' age limit was between 9 and 11. The man was not successful in his bid to become the new Hermione Granger, after Emma Watson played the role in the original films.
