Volume 42 of ‘My Hero Academia’ Breaks an Amazing Sales Record

My Hero Academia has a special place in the hearts of many fans, who were sad when Kohei Hirokoshi recently concluded the series after a truly epic and heroic run. The “New Big Three” have been successfully controlling the manga and anime business for years, and My Hero Academia was one of its biggest titles.
The good news is that the manga’s ending pleased the majority of fans, which is not that common with major shonen series, and while the manga has come to an end, anime fans will still be able to enjoy the series because a final season is presently in development and the franchise’s popularity is still going strong, as this report will soon demonstrate.
Namely, the official numbers coming from Japan have confirmed that the final volume of the My Hero Academia manga has just broken a major sales record, and we are actually overjoyed to report on this!
