At launch, Epic Games’ Fortnite initially offered two exciting game modes: Save the World and Battle Royale as early access titles. The game went on to become a worldwide sensation and popularised the idea of battle royale games among a wider audience. Fortnite‘s biggest advantage was the fact that it was free-to-play, allowing many gamers to play with their friends across all major platforms for free.
