DC just perfectly explained how Lois Lane became Superwoman

This writer is aware of how that title reads, but you have to give respect when it’s due and Joshua Willamson continues to be one of the best writers in the game.
When Lois Lane revealed her superpowers in DC Comics' Superman No. 19 (also written by Joshua Williamson), it seemed weird. This isn’t the first time that she’s gotten superhuman abilities, but it still seemed off. She wasn’t present at the battle where the heroes' respective powers were given back (Absolute Power No. 4) and everyone with a Kryptonian powerset was accounted for (more on that later). So how did she become more powerful than a locomotive? That was explained flawlessly in Superwoman Special No. 1.
Superwoman Special No. 1 starts with Lois having writer's block and later talking it out with Superwoman (Lana Lang) and Supergirl (Kara Zor-El). This is where she tells the story of how she got her abilities.
