Berserk is a tale full of betrayal beyond justified, questionable morality, and the lengths at which power can destroy the world. Kentaro Miura has created the blueprint of dark epic fantasy anime that nobody can truly surpass in the industry unless they want to go beyond the boundaries the mangaka went. It’s a brutal story that isn’t for the faint of heart.

Griffith, the main antagonist of Berserk, evolves into a power-hungry leader who would sacrifice anyone for his cause. His charisma and vision of a Utopia allow him to draw in anybody, including the protagonist, Guts. However, not everyone was so charmed by his efforts after seeing his true colors.

Rickert is an unassuming character who doesn’t stand out until the Band of Falcon’s demise at the hands of Griffith which angers him to new levels.
