The Black Dahlia Murder: "Anime Has Always Been Cool"

In the world of melodic death metal, there are not many bands with a stronger legacy than The Black Dahlia Murder. As one of the titans of the genre, they have a catalog filled with devastating riffs coupled with fantastical lyrics that paint numerous pictures of destruction, fantasy, and power. Where did that creative spark come from? In part, from anime of course! I had the amazing opportunity to sit down with drummer Alan Cassidy and bassist Max Lavelle to talk about all things anime and music. Would you mind introducing yourselves?
