Netflix Is Reportedly Making an Adaptation of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Video Game Series
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has become one of 2024’s standout games. While it hasn’t hit the player numbers of titles like Black Myth: Wukong or Infinity Nikki, its success is extraordinary, considering it was created during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. In an interview with Forbes Ukraine, Maksym Krippa, the owner of Gsc Game World, opened up about the tough journey of making the game. “The team worked almost nonstop before launch,” Krippa said.
“This game was more than entertainment—it was a symbol of hope and pride for Ukraine, showing we can deliver world-class projects even under the hardest conditions.” Despite some small bugs, the team stuck to the November 20th release date to avoid burnout.
