The CW's epic run with DC television series sadly reached its two-decade-long run with the finale of Superman & Lois, but there's no doubt that it's left behind quite an impressive legacy. It not only gave DC fans shows like Smallville, but it also became one of the first major television franchises to successfully run more than three interconnected shows at the same time with the Arrowverse. Consisting of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Batwoman, and others, the Arrowverse offered far more opportunities for storytelling that was both connected and engaging for over a decade in more ways than the cinematic DC Extended Universe ever did in that same amount of time.
