Shrinking, starring Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, has just concluded its second and penultimate season - a season that has been well-received and encapsulated the true depths of human emotion. The show, which explores the depths of hurt and healing that come from therapy, was confirmed for a third outing a day after its second season premiered and will likely arrive in late 2025.

The end of the second season saw Brett Goldstein’s [showrunner and guest star] character Louis' attempt to take his life, only for Segel’s character, Jimmy, to stop him and provide some comfort to the man who drunkenly killed his wife in a car crash. The Season 2 finale really lived and breathed between moments of comedy and the chaos of hilarity and the harsh vulnerability of suffering and pain - a choice Goldstein acknowledges was difficult to produce but effective in its use.
