In a desperate bid for privacy, a Hindu man and a Muslim woman seeking a romantic night together in suburban Kolkata, end up in a hotel room where he has promised to be a luxury hotel, but it turns out to be a rundown room without any kind of comfort. Expectedly, the night starts with a fight, with the woman complaining, and the man trying to move beyond with humor. The movie then moves some hours before, in the morning, when the couple’s search for an establishment in secret begun.
