Gal Gadot Reveals She Was Rushed To Hospital For Emergency Surgery On Brain Clot During Pregnancy
Gal Gadot has revealed that she underwent emergency surgery on a brain clot at the same time as giving birth to her daughter.
In an emotional social media update, the Wonder Woman actress said she wanted to share the story of her trauma to help raise awareness of Cerebral Venous Thrombosis in pregnant women.
The ordeal took place in February during the eighth month of her pregnancy, when Gadot said she experienced “excruciating headaches” that confined her to bed.

After undergoing an Mri scan, surgery was recommended. “In one moment, my family and I were faced with how fragile life can be,” she said.
Gadot, 39, continued: “We rushed to the hospital, and within hours, I underwent emergency surgery. My daughter, Ori, was born during that moment of uncertainty and fear. Her name, meaning ‘my light’ wasn’t chosen by chance.
