2025 is going to be a huge year for Genshin Impact in terms of new content, be that playable characters or a new region, and a large portion of that content has already been teased or leaked in some way. Currently, the action RPG by HoYoverse is at the very start of Version 5.3, an important update that brings forth the conclusion of the main Natlan story quests as the Natlanese, the Traveler, and even Fatui forces gather to fend off the Abyss’ incursion on the Nation of Pyro. There are also several new characters in Genshin Impact 5.3.

This includes the long-awaited Pyro Traveler, as well as Mavuika and Citlali. Coinciding with the annual Lantern Rite Festival, Version 5.3 also introduces a new Liyue character called Lan Yan.
