The titular bear of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, Freddy Fazbear, has gone through many iterations. He’s been cute, teethy, decrepit, golden, brown, and more since his debut in 2014. However, only one game made the absolute best changes to Freddy for the health of the entire series: Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach.
Despite his many costume changes, Freddy Fazbear has essentially always remained the same character in Fnaf. He is one of the many interchangeable animatronics that attack the player, all with practically the same motivations regardless of the game. Security Breach made the best change in that all the animatronics have more personality, and more importantly, Freddy is a uniquely friendly bear.
