Ex-Butcher Babies Singer Carla Harvey Joins Lords of Acid as New Vocalist

Former Butcher Babies singer Carla Harvey is joining Lords of Acid as the band’s new vocalist. She will record a new album with the veteran industrial-dance act this winter, and then embark on a yet-to-be-announced US tour with the band in June.
Even though Harvey recently announced her own new band The Violent Hour, who are set to release their debut single in February, she couldn’t pass up the chance to become a member of one her favorite music acts.
Harvey expressed her excitement in joining Lords of Acid in the following statement (via Blabbermouth):
“I had three favorite bands in high school: Guns N’ Roses, Pantera and Lords of Acid. Each one shaped me and uniquely influenced me as an artist. Loa had me hooked from the moment I heard ‘I Sit on Acid’ as a teenager dancing the night away at Detroit’s goth Industrial Haven City Club.
