‘Hacks’ Wins TV Series Musical or Comedy Golden Globe
The Max comedy series “Hacks” in its third season has won the Golden Globe for Best TV Series Musical or Comedy at the 2025 awards ceremony.
For “Hacks,” this is the second time the Jean Smart-led series won the top TV comedy prize from the Globes, taking home the award in 2022 after its first season but missing out for Season 2 in 2023.
“Hacks” on Sunday was additionally nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy for Jean Smart and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role on Television for Hannah Einbender. Smart previously won in 2022.
Season 3 of “Hacks” faced off against the third season of another hit streaming series, “The Bear,” as well as ABC network comedy “Abbott Elementary,” Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” in its fourth season, and Netflix’s “Nobody Wants This” and “The Gentlemen.”
