Jeff Baena, an acclaimed filmmaker and the husband of Aubrey Plaza, was found dead on Jan. 3 at the age of 47. Days after his unexpected passing, Plaza has spoken out about the situation to thank those who've been offering support.

Per Variety, a statement penned by Plaza, along with the Baena and Stern family, noted: “This is an unimaginable tragedy. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
