Stick To Your Guns' Josh James: Anime and Hardcore Have So Much of Real Life in Them
Stick To Your Guns have been one of the most influential names in hardcore since the early 2000s. Album after album, EP after EP, the band has a magical ability to make you think with their lyrics and make you mosh with their music. This is also true of their latest release, Keep Planting Flowers , which is out this Friday, January 10th. I chatted with guitarist Josh James about their recent visit to our headquarters, getting the “band back” and the parallels between anime and hardcore. You've been out on the road and you just released your latest full length album, Keep Planting Flowers . What was the process of recording that like?
