Disney+ boosting video quality with introduction of HDR10+
Viewers will be able to choose this premium Hdr format during playback on Disney+ soon.
The 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas is in full swing this week, and it’s leading to a wealth of new announcements from top streaming services. The conglomeration of companies behind the creation of HDR10+ video technology was also on hand at this year’s CES, and used the opportunity to announce that Disney+ will soon be streaming its TV shows and movies in this format.
Key Details: HDR10+ uses dynamic metadata to optimize each frame of Hdr video. There was no specific date given for when Disney+ will begin using HDR10+.
