Bill Maher Assures He's Not Leaving 'Real Time' After Previously Floating Idea He 'May Quit'
Bill Maher isn’t going anywhere!
The 68-year-old comedian hosts the HBO series Real Time with Bill Maher, where he offers his perspective on current events and issues, and has been doing so for over 20 years.
Following the 2024 Presidential Election results, Bill said he “may quit” the show as he doesn’t want to cover another Donald Trump presidency.
In a new interview, he assured fans and more that he’s not leaving the show at all.

“I don’t know where this started about I’m getting rid of Real Time,” he told CNN‘s Jake Tapper. “They’re going to have to drag me off of that show.”
“What I was saying was that I didn’t want to do another Trump term,” Bill added. “Not just because I don’t think it’s going to be possibly a great time for America.
