Sandwiched between two huge releases, Thunderbolts* will be the MCU’s second theatrical offering this year. The Florence Pugh starrer will see prominent anti-heroes and villains team up like the Suicide Squad for a mission orchestrated by Valentina de Fontaine. The film also features Sebastian Stan, who returns after Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Despite a few prominent stars in its ensemble cast, Thunderbolts* may not be as big of a box office hit as the other two MCU releases of the year. The lack of serious buzz around the film coupled with the storyline sounding all too familiar to Suicide Squad may lead the film to be a dud like The Marvels.
