Sakamoto Days is in the limelight for many reasons. The Hitman series redefines badassery in most aspects, especially through its fight scenes and character development. It truly lives up to its popularity in most aspects.

With its animated adaptation, however, several fans raised their concerns and qualms. In the era of botched anime adaptations, most viewers had their fair share of valid concerns. But they may have judged the series too soon.

Of late, several fans have compared the series with Koyoharu Gotouge’s magnum opus Demon Slayer. And though this seems convenient, it is a bit of a stretch to compare two completely different series.

While Tms isn’t a cult-popular studio, it is a household name that has produced some of the iconic anime. In their manner of censure, people often overlook the unrealistic standards and expectations that a series’ success would create.
