Paul Danan has sadly died.

The actor, who rose to fame the soap opera Hollyoaks, passed away at the age of 46, his management company confirmed.

“Known for his television presence, exceptional talent, and unwavering kindness, Paul was a beacon of light to so many,” Independent Creative Management wrote on social media.

“His untimely departure will leave irreplaceable voids in the lives of all who knew him. During this difficult time, we kindly request respect and privacy for Paul’s family, friends, and colleagues.”

Paul began acting as a child on shows like Eastenders, but it was his role as Sol Patrick in Hollyoaks at age 19 that secured his star status.

He would also appear on The Queen’s Nose, The Basil Brush Show and Casualty before pivoting into reality TV.
