Kid Rock Shames ‘Angry’ & ‘Childish’ Michelle Obama For Skipping Trump’s Inauguration
In a recent conversation with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Kid Rock (real name Robert James Ritchie) shared his disdain for former president Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle Obama, and her decision not to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20.
Kid Rock said that this was inappropriate and childish behavior. Ritchie proclaimed, “I would kindly like to remind Michelle that years back when Obama was first elected, I did not vote for him, but they asked me to play at the inauguration…I played it, I went, I had a good time. I went out of respect for the presidency, I would kindly remind Miss Michelle about that.”
Questioned why he thought Michelle was skipping the ceremony, Ritchie said, “I don’t know, she seems a little angry. I can’t say something nice.”
The day after the election, the Obamas immediately released a statement on X congratulating Trump...
