While 2024 was a great year, 2025 is going to be something as we will see the release of much-anticipated films like the Last Conjuring film and Guillermo del Toro‘s take on the classic novel Frankenstein. So, we decided to compile a list of the most anticipated horror films that are coming in 2025.

Presence is an upcoming supernatural horror thriller film directed by Steven Soderbergh from a screenplay by David Koepp. The upcoming film revolves around a family who move into a suburban neighborhood and soon believe their house is haunted. While the plot for Presence sounds like a typical horror film, the ultimate twist, aka hook for the upcoming Soderbergh film, is that the film is shot from the ghost’s perspective.
